There is no adjustment made for an occasional student absence and no credit will be given for lessons not attended. If there are extenuating circumstances (eg. severe illness, death in the family etc.) and advanced notice is given, lessons may be made up at the discretion of the instructor. Last minute cancellations and no shows will not be made up and no credit will be received.
Students enrolled in a group class may attend another class during the week they are to be absent (if available) with advanced notice.
|Safe and Respectful
These two principles are of utmost importance to us and the families in our care. Students, staff and parents agree to respect all members of the community and will refrain from abusive or intimidating language or mistreatment of any kind. We have the right to terminate any enrollment where an individual is consistently unable to uphold this.
We keep your personal information private and secure. When you make a purchase from our site, you provide your name, your child’s name, date of birth and any special needs he or she may have, your email address, credit card information, address, phone number and a password. We use this information to process your registrations, to provide relevant information to your child’s teacher so he/she can best meet the student’s needs, and to keep you updated on news and events. We will not sell, rent or loan your personal information to any third party.
During the winter months we understand that weather may create driving issues and we do take that into consideration when choosing to stay open or close for the day. If the studio is closed, each student will receive a call/email to confirm the cancellation and the lesson will be rescheduled. If the studio is open, lessons will continue per the norm and those lessons missed will be considered absent and not made up.
|Allergies and Special Considerations
Staff must be made aware of any student(s) possessing medication. Inhalers, epi-pens, and other life sustaining items must be kept with the student’s personal items. Students and staff may not give any medication to another student or staff member.
